Etsy Find of the Day: Solos Glass

Started 15 years ago by Richmond, Virginia glass artists Nanda Soderberg and Rebecca Saunders, Solos Glass creates blown-glass vases and other vessels that are breathtaking in their beauty, delicacy, and simplicity. The studio also transforms vintage glass into unique -- and useful -- new objects.

Some of the one-of-a-kind offerings in the Solos Glass Etsy shop:

Hand-blown Glass Vessels, $99 for a set of four

Olive Green Glass Vases, $100 for a set of three

Blue Glass Clock created from a heat-spun antique dish, $150

Green Glass Bowls created from beer bottles that have been heated and spun out, $120 for a set of six

Those beer bottle bowls are delightful! I told my mom to get crackin' on some (because she has a glass cutter) but she doesn't have the technology to "spin out." Sad. But she can make drinking glasses and vases!
