Cool Stuff: Modern Wreath

I spotted these mod metal wreaths on the front door of fabric designer Amy Butler's "Midwest Modern" abode in the current issue of Blueprint magazine, and thought they were a fun, funky alternative to the standard evergreen holiday wreath.

The wreaths are from San Francisco's own Kenneth Wingard, and are constructed of overlapping circles of powder-coated steel.

Hang one on your door for the holidays, and then put it to use as a bit of Op Art on a wall inside -- or, as Wingard suggests, lay it flat on a table and fill the center with pillar candles for an arresting centerpiece.

Available for $60 right here.

This wreath is great...really liked it when I saw it in Blueprint. I was also a big fan of their DIY gift wrap ideas in the same issue.
